What
is BRUSHLESS???
To Start off, you must first know the difference between an electric
brushed motor and brushless. A brief discussion of how a brushed motor
works can be read here.
If you already know about brushed motors you can continue with this
brushless article now.
A brushless motor still requires a positive and negative current,
but needs a third source of current from the battery pack but does
not require brushes, springs or as much maintenance as a brushed motor
may require. The brushless motor works from electric current the batteries
pulled from the Brushless ESC "Brushless Electronic Speed Controller",
wired to the negative and positive tabs on the electric brushless
motor which in turn powers the internal wires in the can that powers
the magnetic rotor "armature" causing the motor to spin.
Diagram of motor below;

Note: a brushless motor requires a special speed controller called
a Brushless Speed Contorller.
